Patricia "Patty" Halliwell was a witch that had the power to freeze molecules.

Powers and Abilities[]

Sorcery[]

Because Patty was a gifted wicca witch, she possessed the ability of sorcery. This allowed her to cast already made spells and she could also create her own spells. Sorcery also allowed her to scry for other witches and it allowed her to brew potions that can be used for a variety of effects like a love potion or a vanquishing potion.

Molecular Immobilization[]

Her personal wiccan power was one that has been in the Warren line for decades; Molecular Immobilization. She had the ability to stop the molecules of something so that it would literally stop right where it was as if it was frozen in time. This ability is sometimes called freezing time, but in reality, it has absolutely nothing to do with time at all. It is stopping molecules so that the target cannot move.

It is unknown how far along Patty was with this power. We know that she had moved past the stage of freezing an entire room because we see her freeze Sam while he is trying to stop her from vanquishing the demon that is going to kill her. They are outside and Patty freezes him. This would not have worked if Patty didn't have full control over this ability. We know this because when Piper was attacked by the Wendigo, she told Phoebe that she couldn't freeze him because she could only freeze whatever was in the same room as her and because she wasn't in a room, her power wouldn't have worked.

Spirit Powers[]

After Patty died she gained two powers that only spirits can possess. She gained the ability to teleport from place to place in flashes of white lights call wisping. This type of transport is only used by spirits. She also gained some form of projection. This was shown when she wrote in the Book of Shadows without even being by or near the Book of Shadows.
